So many “WTF US!” in this article. Maybe the smallest is that… doctors are payed depending on what actions they do? Only the doctor present at delivery is payed for the delivery? In EU I’m pretty sure hospital doctors are salaried. They do their hours and get payed. They might be lucky and just nap for the length of their shift or have the shift from hell, but ideally it averages out. No incentives other than taking care of the patients.
