One of the other notable scenes with her sister was in the steel factory, when the T1000 was mimicking Sarah. The T1000 was actually played by Linda Hamilton and it was her sister with the shotgun.

Let me rub it in then… ;)
That is Sarah Connor from Terminator 1

For anyone wondering, that’s Sarah Connors dream from Terminator 2 right before the city gets nuked.

10·10 days agoYou can totally be the nice guy in this case. Imma just call a spade a spade. I suspect that this account and those comments are intended to drive people to YouTube. The first thing people do when dealing with controversy is check a person’s profile. The first thing they will see on that profile is basically an ad and self-promotion. Maybe I am looking too deep into this, but when you read his comments the way he narrates, it kinda clicked about what the motive might be.
I do totally understand your point. Mental health issues are absolutely real and should be addressed. How much we can do about that here on Lemmy is debatable.

9·10 days agoIf you legitimately believe what you said is true and coherent, you should probably find someone impartial to talk to about these ideas.
So I went to OPs YouTube channel and these posts seem to be a continuation of the M.I.B.-like persona/almost alien in a human body kinda thing. It’s… interesting. In that context, saying things like “NASA fake” is perfectly in character.
Not trying to be critical of anyone’s personality, but the suit, tie and glasses really hint at an act.

10·10 days agoI can’t see the modlog on my client, but the the other person said it was the most unmedicated comment he had seen that day. I thought it was hysterical, given the context.
It was likely implying that you should be taking meds, not so much that you didn’t take any today.

And bad grammar too. Tsk, tsk.
That would mean the coffee supports Unicode better than my Lemmy client. (The “i” is broken for me.)

It’s the back of the phone, based on the picture.
An epoxy might work to keep any more glass from cracking, but I am doubtful. If you can somehow make a mold or something to contain the epoxy while it sets, that might help. Sanding off the excess epoxy sounds tricky as well.
I guess in reality, any glue should work to help secure the rest of the glass for a little bit of time. Also in reality, the glass is already compromised so it’s anyone’s guess how long any fix would keep the damage from spreading. To simulate something like a windshield repair, you would need to forcefully inject the glue or expoxy into the damaged area to fill any developing cracks completely.
Any kind of fix still probably needs to get covered with a beefy phone case afterwards.
It’s hard to say what a decent fix would be or how it might cause issues with future repairs without a hands-on look at the damage. The best option is to replace the back of the phone whenever that becomes possible. (I suspect any glues or epoxies would interfere with that.)
Brosnan was great but Sean Connery was impossible to beat.

Vyvanse wasn’t a pleasant experience for me. It felt like it crushed all of my dopamine receptors and life got really boring, really quick. (Obviously, this isn’t everyone’s experience, but it was mine.) It took a few weeks for my brain to recover.
I didn’t try switching because I wanted to (adderall works just fine for me), it’s because the adderall supply was low in my area for a bit and I wanted it find an alternative.
Duplicate post, btw.
I completely stopped taking that stuff as a sleeping medicine. I might take it if I happen to develop an allergy or something, but that is about it.
Also, I believe the risk of dependency needs to be reevaluated for that stuff. For me, I trade one nights sleep for two shitty ones if I take it. So, it’s keep taking it, or just power through a couple more days of not being able to get to sleep after taking it. I personally believe this can lead to longer term sleep issues. (I do not believe there is going to be evidence or studies to back up my claims, but I haven’t really looked.)
Sure, it could have just been psychological issues for me, but there were issues nonetheless.

2·16 days agoDo a look-through of that XML folder as well. Images could be base64 encoded in those XML files. I remember several instances where XML was used as a template “language” for old style GUIs. (When XML and HTML diverged, a lot of that kind of thing was happening.)

I was teaching myself assembly language and C when I was in 7th grade, so sure. If a kid is self-motivated enough then the sky is the limit.
Kids are capable of some amazing things if given the right tools, enough time and plenty of positive reinforcement.
