This is fascinating - on the one hand yeah, it’s a tragedy to have the same life expectancy after a friggin century of modern medicine, but on the other, the US life expectancy was already way ahead even in 1900. I stopped watching the show a few episodes into season 6. Iirc it felt so forced after the end of season 5 and the first seasons were just perfect so I figured they’ll end it soon anyway. Interesting to see it went on for 10 more seasons.

Pacific Drive - finally managed to finish this one after starting and abandoning it twice because it’s just terrifying to me. ( I just had to start it again after reading Roadside Picnic and thinking “hey, this reads familiar” ). It’s still terrifying, but absolutely great game.
Now I’m playing Kingdoms&Castles and Starbound again to calm the fuck down.

In principle I agree with this and follow it, but these days every single friggin service requires a password and for some people there will come a point where they will be overwhelmed with the amount of passwords they have to remember and generating a random+storage is a lot easier than remembering.

There’s no story, i think it’s just one of those weird coincidences. I know that the romanian flag had the same layout as far back as the 19th century and possibly earlier, so it predates Chad’s, who got their independence ( and presumanly their flag ) in the 60s.
During the communist regime however (1948-1989) Romania’s flag also had an emblem in the middle, so when Chad decided on their flag i assume they chose the simple blue-yellow-red because it wasn’t technically “taken”.
After the revolution we ( Romania ) reverted to the simple flag, which was now conflicting with Chad’s.
Edit: additional fun facts - during the early 90s there weren’t a lot of “new” flags in Romania, so we used the communist ones but with a hole where the communist emblem used to be. That’s why pretty much all the flags you see in images with Romania during that time will have holes in them. The cut flag was also a symbol of the revolution for a good while.
I agree. However while incresed pricing isn’t that big of a deal, I feel it comes at the end of a long chain of other penny-pinching methods, like gacha, mtx, pay2win, always online for data mining and so on. If this raise would’ve happened first, then you’d just have to buy a more expensive game and that would’ve been it. As it stands you’re getting shafted on price as well as all the other crap ideas they had in the meantime.
