I got burned on a previous Jolla crowdfunding project for a Linux tablet. They never delivered the device. They gave partial refunds.

3·2 months agoI have a 3600 in a NAS and it idles at 25w. My mobo luckily runs fine without a GPU. I pulled it out after the initial install.

I did go back and test and I don’t see the bandwidth limited around 750mbits. I upgraded openwrt since I originally setup QoS. Now I can get my full connection speed if I set the limit artificially high.
I’ve used this for several years as my home router. I find sqm limits the throughput 10% but I disable it for the ingress anyway. Super reliable so far.
“Longtail” cargo bike is the term for that design. Not sure about that specific bike though.

3·3 months agoMost of the bad ones are “plant based”. Maybe extracting the protein also concentrates any trace lead.
I have a 2014 Chevy volt. Not a full EV, but used ones are affordable and the 3g cell modem no longer works.
We get 30-38 miles per charge depending on the outside temperature which covers most of our day to day driving. It will charge from a regular wall outlet (120v at 8 amps) in 12 hours. The ICE engine gets an oil change every 2 years since it gets rarely used.
Fun fact: shellac is an insect product too
Reminds me of zooming into certain parts of the Mandelbrot fractal.
