Lol. So they failed at that pretty spectacularly.

Perhaps they should focus on getting their base content working before selling it and the blaming it on Sony and getting delisted.

Great advice from CDPR, masters of project management and product release strategies, as seen in the initial Cyberpunk release, that shit the bed in an almost unprecedented way, despite employee crunch. I’m glad that they actually managed to turn it around with enough time after release, but their track record still doesn’t look great even with the DLC release factored in.

I liked CP 2077, even at launch since I played it on Stadia. Let’s be honest…CP2077 was an early access release. They literally took feedback from the player base and used it to fix the game before releasing the rest of the game. That’s literally what early access is, except that they charged for Phantom Liberty instead of making it a free expansion as reward for our hard work.

EDIT: Since I bought it on Stadia, Google threw in a free controller and some other perks I don’t remember. When Stadia went belly up, I got all my money back and got to keep the controller. I also brought the PS4 disc on sale at Target for $5, which includes a free upgrade to the PS5 version. So, for five dollars I got the PS5 version and a free, high quality, Bluetooth gamepad? Maybe not rushing unfinished products (CP2077 and Stadia) to market might be a better course of action.

At this point they just need to stop talking shit like this. After CP2077, their next release needs to be them walking the walk. I won’t believe a goddamn thing that company says pre-launch anymore.

And how did CDPR form this more ideal position on the matter? Any formative past experiences we should know about…
