100 Years is apparently a short film. Rodriguez stated in a 2019 interview:
I was making several short films for them, and I finished that one first, we shot that one first, I thought that was gonna be a commercial or something. And then I showed them the movie and they said “Yeah, that’s great, that’s great. That’s the one we lock away.” And I said, “What? That’s the one you lock away? What about the other one with the future…” “No, that’s the commercial.”
I found out while watching an Interview with Claudio Miranda and after that checking his Filmography section on Wikipedia
And nobody will give a shit. This movie is just marketing for some booze anyways, and I doubt it’s even real
It’s an interesting concept but 100 years is stupidly too much
If by some miracle of science I make it to 2115, I still won’t give a shit about a cognac commercial.
For sure. There will also be a shit ton of other one-hundred-year old short films that were available, but you never watched that you also won’t give a shit about.
No film is worth waiting 100 years for. CMV.
Well if you’re born in 1877 in a world of telegraphs and steam engines and got to live a hundred years and see Star Wars I in the cinema I think you’d have a bit of an epiphany about how much the ability to fantasize about the future has grown over your lifetime.
Star Wars wouldn’t have been worth a 100 year wait.
I like Malkovich, but I wouldn’t watch this stupid movie if it leaked tomorrow. Lame advertising stunt.
That’s funny because it will “leak” at some point not far into the future.
Like Dolly Parton’s “My Place in History,” locked away in a Dollywood time capsule to celebrate the 31st year of the park opening and her to be 100th birthday.
I love shirt like this. I won’t be around, and I don’t care if they did it for stupid reasons. I think it’s cool.
I like this shirt too
