Journalism and human rights organizations are calling for police to drop criminal charges against a reporter arrested in Edmonton this month.

On Jan. 10, award-winning Indigenous journalist and author Brandi Morin was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer during the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) clearing of an Indigenous encampment at Rowland Road and 95 Street.
