Why did Trump impose the current tariffs? Was it:

A. To enrich himself via insider trading.

B. To compel pledges of loyalty from companies and industries.

C. To extort other countries, including allies.

D. All of the above

Of course, they fucking are. All of them.

The second reason seems more evil, so that’s more likely for him.

I thought the major point of announcing tarrifs a month in advance was to give people the chance to sell their stocks so they can buy the dip. Remember just a week or two ago that Tesla’s boardmembers sold off a ton of over-valued stock?

Fire sale, insider trading, stock manipulation, price manipulation… pick a scam/con. It’s at least one of them.

Now this way they can raid private retirement funds as well as social security.
