Finally! Someone with the courage to adapt the NES classic The Goonies II to the big screen. What a time to be alive!

At least in the current political environment, they can continue with the original’s themes of bullying, racism, fat-shaming, sexual assault, and generally treating people terribly.

Why in Mammon’s name…

The rock-solid production and overall surprisingly-high quality of Star Wars Skeleton Crew and the presence of Spielberg is the ONLY reason I have a sliver of hope for a Goonies movie in 2025.
