    I would much rather have them get aggressive with building housing, but who am I to suggest a massive building campaign when you can just beat up homeless people.

      Get aggressive about not letting corporations hoover up all the housing and price gouging renters. A stupid amount of housing is being built in CA right now. Homeowners are being tirelessly harassed by Blackstone to sell their homes at well over market value in an effort to get all the houses out of private ownership. Like, ALL of them.

        We have to double yearly production just to start making up for the 3 million home deficit we have. We need really stupid levels of production.

        Not in California. Prices have been kept high by a massive deficit of housing that has been going on for decades. There are many articles on this deficit.

          You’d instantly have about 10% more houses available if they weren’t owned by corporate investors.
