I used this when I had wired earphones
Yep, I use this for everything. It keeps my bin of obscure wires for discontinued electronics from turning into a sentient being.
Mine has already drafted a list of demands and annexed an entire shelf :(
Back in the day
I’m always surprised when I see something like this and it’s something I’ve always done without anyone needing to tell me how yet it seems like the majority is unable to figure it out by themselves…
Like, see a problem, try to come up with a solution, no?
Counterpoint. If you don’t ask you’ll never know if there’s a niftier solution out there to the one you thought up. Two heads better than one and all that.
Sure, but asking without first trying to come up with a solution by yourself isn’t that
So? That’s how humans share information, and that’s just fine. No need to police how others advance themselves
the same way you stopped phone cords from getting tangled
you fucking don’t
Bluetooth
I love how half the suggestions here are just “It’s a wash, man. Throw them away and buy wireless with all that cash I assume you have lying around.” 🤣
Wireless headphones.
Or a spool to wrap the cord around so it doesn’t just go rogue.
Do you also carry around the dongle? Sadly I lost my headphone jack years ago, very much thanks to the shitty ass influence of apple.
Yes. It’s called a carry case. Most IEM-s come with one, small enough to fit in a pocket, big enough to hold the phones, extension cable, spare silicon tips, SIM extraction tool, a few uSD cards, USB stick with Tails or Mint installed and other tiny shit you might need.
I used to take a pencil grip and send it down the cord. Having it at the earphone end before I stowed the wire solved 90% of my tangling issues.
I got this really cheap Samsung in ear headset, and for some reason they don’t tangle. The cable isn’t round but flat, idk if that’s the reason. They are in my pocket all the time in case I need to do a call at work on teams or smth.
